Timothy Setzer

Timothy Scott Setzer Sr., 58, of Choteau passed away October 18, 2018 at his home surrounded by family and friends. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Gorder-Jensen Funeral Home and private services will take place at a later date.



Tim was born May 14, 1960 in St. Charles, Missouri to Robert Setzer and Mary Yarbro Setzer, he was one of 7 children. He grew up in Golf Point, Mississippi and he graduated high school in 1978 form Long Beach High. After high school Tim traveled around roofing, following in his father's footsteps. He moved to Montana and eventually to Choteau, where he spent the remainder of his days living with the love of his life, his wife, Caprice, his son Scotty and even had the privilege of meeting his new granddaughter Alice.



Tim loved to golf and shared his love of the sport with his family. He enjoyed attending horse races,barbeques and spending time relaxing with his loved ones. He was a great man and his family and friends miss him dearly.

Tim is survived by his wife Caprice Cooke-Setzer; his son Timothy Scott Setzer Jr. (Angel Cooke), A granddaughter Alice Joplin Setzer; his brothers Rick (Dion) Setzer and Randy (Deanna) Setzer; his sisters Sharon (Chris) Varone, Sandy (Mike) McClain and Debbie (Jack) Terry; and step-son Frankie Cooke as well as numerous nieces and nephews and family friends.



Tim is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Mary and his sister Donna.
