Sharon Louise (Jenkins) Walker, 72, of Choteau, passed away peacefully; Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Benefis Teton Medical Center in Choteau.
Sharon was born November 2, 1948 to John and Helen (Lawrence) Jenkins in Toledo, Ohio. On September 13, 1974, she married David Alan Walker in Lake Mary, Florida and from that day on the two were inseparable. Sharon went to school and got her nursing license and worked in that profession for over 25 years.
Sharon and her husband retired in 1999 to become full time RVers. Sharon loved to travel and do volunteer work with her family; doing state park and forest reclamation, hosting at the campgrounds, gardening, and genealogy. She went on to write a cookbook called "Mrs. Moose Campfire Cookery for Beginners" after she realized how many people did not know how to safely and properly cook over an open campfire. Sharon also enjoyed helping her husband with his photography and is owner of "Crochet Critters and Things".
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband of 44 years.
Sharon is survived by her only son Michael Walker of Choteau, Montana, brothers John Jenkins IV (Laurie) of Boca Raton, Florida, and David Jenkin (Jamie) of Nashville, Tennessee. She is also survived by her mother in law, Betty Walker of Florida.
Cremation had taken place under the direction of Gorder-Jensen Funeral Home and per Sharon's request no services will take place at this time.
