Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at the Choteau Cemetery for Robert "Bob" Bryant, age 73, of Choteau who died Saturday, June 23, 2012 at the Benefis Healthcare in Great Falls from natural causes. Interment will be in the Choteau Cemetery under the direction of Gorder Jensen Funeral Home of Choteau. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, June 26th at the funeral home
Bob was born on December 28, 1938 in Cincinnati, OH, the son of Leslie R. and Lillie (Dameron) Bryant. He was raised and educated in Cincinnati and moved to Montana at age 17 from Cincinnati. Bob worked as a farmer, auto body repairman and for Teton County and the City of Choteau as a heavy equipment operator before retiring. He enjoyed boating, fishing, camping, car repairing and being with family and friends. He also enjoyed making models, woodworking, welding, and talking on his CB radio, as well as visiting with his family and grandchildren.
He is survived by: longtime-companion: Lillian Sayler, Two daughters: Kaylee Kalista and Arleen Hibbard, both of East Helena, MT; a son: Robert Bryant of Great Falls, MT; a sister: Carol Davis of South Bend, Indiana and a brother: James "Pete" Bryant of New Richmond, OH; 6 grandchildren: Rob Kalista and Bret Kalista, both of East Helena, MT, Nate Hibbard of Helena, MT; Evan Profitt of East Helena, MT, Shanel and Tyler Bryant, both of Choteau, MT; 9 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews..
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters: Bessie Robinson and Shirley Cady and two brothers: Charles Bryant and Junior Podvin.
