Rebecca P Hofer, 93, passed away March 2, 2023 at the Miller Colony with family by her side. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Rebecca was born September 15, 1929 in Dew Dayton, Alberta. She was 19 years old when she moved to New Miami Colony in Pendroy.
She married the love of her life, John Hofer in January 1952. She was a kindergarten teacher for many years. Rebecca loved to sing and read her bible.
Rebecca always had a smile for everyone and she will be missed by all.
Rebecca has numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Rebecca is survived by her six children; Dave (Marie), Peter (Susie), John (Susanna), Dan (Lena), Frieda (Jake) and Anna (Paul) as well as her brother Jake and sister Mary from New Miami.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John, her sisters, brother and grandson.
