Pearl June Hyland Threlkeld, 94, died of natural causes at Teton Medical Center in Choteau where she had lived for the past 3 1/2 years. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Gorder Jensen Funeral Home of Choteau. At her request no services will be held.
She was born June 17, 1918 near Bowman's Corner to Abby and Sparky Hyland. She attended school in Augusta and Great Falls. Pearl worked for many years at Duval's. She loved working in her yard and rose garden.
Pearl is survived by a son, Donald (Leanne) Wilson of Fairfield, MT, grandchildren Zane (Cherie) Wilson of Ulm and Dawn Tobel of Kingston, WA; step-grandchildren: Terry (Linda) Threlkeld of Galatin Gateway and Seana Strle of Denver, Co; great grandchildren, Tanner and Jessica of Kingston, WA, Jennifer and Cody of Ririe, ID, Abigail, Kelsey and Kaitlin, Lauren and Rennie of Ulm and one great, great grandchild, Cloe of Ulm, MT.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Blaine Threlkeld, a daughter, Judy Eagen, a sister, Ruby Orr and brothers: Will, Rich and Don Hyland.
