Odin Neckstad

Odin E. Neckstad, age 91, of Augusta, MT., died Sunday, July 12, 2015 at Peace Hospice Residence in Great Falls, MT. No services are planned and cremation has taken place under the direction of Gorder Jensen Funeral Home of Choteau.
Odin was born June 9, 1924 at his home in Spring Valley near Choteau, MT the son of Olaf and Ellen Neckstad. He married Julia Lame on October 31, 1948. He was a farmer and rancher who enjoyed hunting, fly-fishing, traveling and pitching horseshoes. In his younger years he was member of the 3 Ring Horseshoe Club in Great Falls.
He is survived by his wife Julia of Augusta, a son, Daniel (Sheila) Neckstad of Helena, MT; 2 grandchildren: Charrissa (Doug) Bailey of Helena, MT and Scott (Amy) Neckstad of Fairfield, MT; and 2 great grandchildren: Landon and Kaleb Bailey, both of Helena, MT.
He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant brother a sister: Raidar and Adona Neckstad; an adult sister, Adona Neckstad and two adult brothers, Raidar and Edward Neckstad.
