Nora E. Larson, 97, died May 16, 2015, at the Extended Care Unit at Benefis Teton Medical Center in Choteau.
A funeral service will be held May 22 at 11 a.m. in the Choteau Baptist Church.
She was born on Oct. 30, 1918, to Leslie (Joe) and Greta Bush at her family's homestead out of Bole.
She received her education in Choteau and graduated from the Teton County High School in 1936. She attended Montana Deaconess School of Nursing and graduated in 1939 with a registered nursing degree.
She married Russell Larson in Kalispell on Jan. 3, 1940. They lived on their ranch south of Choteau where their four children were raised.
She was a member for more than 50 years of the Queen Rebekah Lodge 31 and a member of the Episcopal Church. She was also a member of the Montana Cowgirls Association.
She worked as a volunteer for the American Red Cross blood drawings for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell; a son, James Larson; sisters, Florence Yeager and Leslie Jensen; a brother, Joe Bush; and a grandson, Wade Gollehon.
Survivors included her children, Lanore (Don) Johnson of Helena, Judy (Wayne) Gollehon of Choteau and Jerry (Darlene) Larson of Choteau; seven grandchildren; and 10 great- grandchildren.
