Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at the New Life Assembly of God Church in Choteau, MT for Mary Lou Jackson, age 69 of Choteau who died Thursday, November 14, 2013 at the home of her daughter in Choteau, surrounded by her familly. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Gorder Jensen Funeral Home of Choteau.
Mary Lou was born September 7, 1944 in Choteau, MT and graduated from Choteau High School. She married Allen Jackson on August 13, 1972 in Coer d'Alene, Idaho and helped her husband on the farm.
She enjoyed ceramics, knitting and working puzzle books. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a Methodist and was president of the PTA in her younger years.
Mary Lou is survived by her husband of 42 years, Allen Jackson of Fairfield, Mt; 5 children: Steve Jackson of Brighton, Co, Dennis Jackson and Tamara Keiffer, both of Choteau, Troy Jackson of Great Falls, MT and Melodie Lovely of Watertown, MA; a brother, Keith McFarlane of Fairfield, MT 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Maxine Forbeck and 2 infant sisters.
