Marion Hensley

Marion Leroy Hensley, age 86, of Fairfield, Montana died Saturday, June 16, 2012 at his home in Fairfield from natural causes. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Gorder Jensen Funeral Home of Choteau. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, June 21, 2012 at Sunset Hills Cemetery in Fairfield. A reception will be held at the Grace Lutheran Church following the services at the cemetery.



Marion was born October 10, 1925 in Cascade, Mt, the son of Clarence R. and Florence (Holyoak) Hensley. He was married to Alice Anderson on April 5, 1948 and she preceded him in death in 1975. He married Juanita Leininger on August 29, 1975. He was a farmer and rancher and a World War II veteran of the US Navy. He lived almost all of his life in the Fairfield area.



He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, playing pool and playing cards and he was a member of the Fairfield VFW.



Marion is survived by his wife, Juanita of Fairfield; daughter: Raylene Stark of Valier, MT; son, Jerry Hensley of Choteau, MT; a daughter in law: Mali Hensley of Fairfield, MT; a brother: Riley Hensley of Seeley Lake, MT; a sister Edna Beck of Fairfield, MT; 6 grandchildren: Kristie Sheehan of Las Vegas, NV, Daniel Stark of Great Falls, MT, Chad Hensley of Arcata, CA, Matt Hensley of Choteau, Roy Hensley and Misty Hensley, both of Great Falls, MT and 9 great grandchildren: Brianna Sheehan, Olivia Sheehan and Kaia Stark-Rumlin, all of Las Vegas, NV, Allison Stark and Isla Stark, Tristan Handa, Tasha Handa, Brendon Hensley and Raven Hensley, all of Great Falls, MT.



He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, a son, Dale Hensley, a grandson, Josh Hensley; and 2 sisters, Lucille Gamradt and Rowena Reno.
