Lydia Stroh

August 12, 1916 — September 10, 2014

Lydia Stroh, age 98, died Sept. 10, 2014 at Teton Medical Center Extended Care Unit, Choteau, M T from natural causes. Private family services will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Gorder Jensen Funeral Home of Choteau. Interment of her cremated remains will be in the Choteau Cemetery.



Lydia was born August 12, 1916 in Elgin, North Dakota the daughter of Gottfried and Fredericka (Rueb) Weishaar. She married Enoch Stroh on Oct. 26, 1940 in Lemmon, South Dakota.. She moved to Choteau from Wishek, North Dakota in 1954.



She was a homemaker and enjoyed playing cards and having coffee with friends. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.



Lydia is survived by her daughter in law, Lynda Stroh from Tennessee, a grandson, Todd (Laura) Stroh from Tennessee, a granddaughter, Cheryl (Alan) Stroh Edmonds from Ohio, a great grandson, Ryan Stroh and a great granddaughter, Alexa Stroh.



She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Enoch in 1989, a son, Ronald Stroh in 1989, brothers, Reinhold, Arthur, Edwin, Julius and Albert and a sister, Pauline.
