Great Falls- LeeRoy R. Anderson, 95, passed away on May 2, 2016, at Grandview Assisted Living.
A remembrance of his life will be held on Wed. June 1, 2016 at 11:00am at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Choteau, MT.
LeeRoy was born August 23, 1920 the eldest child of Etta (Falkenstein) and Roy A. Anderson in Wilton, ND. HE attended school in Wilton, graduated from high school in Power, MT. He and Hildur (Peggy) Martinson were married in Choteau on September 28, 1941. He served in the United States Navy, 1943-1945, as a Carpenters Mate in the Navy Seabees.
LeeRoy was a Master Carpenter and in the construction business for over 50 years. He and Peggy spent their retirement years in San Jacinto, Ca and Choteau , MT.
He is survived by nephews: Frank Charles (Sharon) Young, Aldon (Lori) Young, Jerry (Lee) Schilling and Nieces: Vicki (Dave) Horrax, Lynda Henry, Tracy (Mark) Groy, Stacy (Joe) Cox, Sheryl Goff, Susan (Stan Brown) Anderson, and sister-in-law Jeanne Anderson.
He was preceded in death by his wife Peggy, his parents, brother Don and sisters Loretta Young and Darleene Schilling.
