Joseph Truchot

November 15, 1965 — June 16, 2023

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph Patrick Truchot, known to those who loved him as Joe, on June 16th, 2023. Born on November 15th, 1965 in Conrad, MT, Joseph spent his years in Kalispell, Montana, after retiring from his career as an accountant. He was a smart and supportive individual, always ready to lend a helping hand, and a loving brother to his surviving sibling, Alex Truchot.

Joseph had a keen eye for value. His hobby of buying storage units reflected his belief in the principle of buying low and selling high. He had a thoughtful nature and a love for the simple pleasures in life, such as watching movies and spending time with his beloved dogs. He treasured his finds from the storage units he purchased, and they were a testament to his astute judgement and knack for identifying hidden gems. As George Bernard Shaw once said, "The true joy in life is to be a force of fortune instead of a feverish, selfish little clod of ailments and grievances." Joseph embodied this spirit in his love for his hobbies and his thoughtful, supportive nature.

Joseph was the loving son of Janet and Alexander Truchot, both of whom preceded him in death. His family, friends, and all those who knew him will remember Joseph as a beacon of love, support, and intelligence. His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him.

We encourage everyone who knew Joseph to leave memories and upload photos to his memorial page. Your shared memories will strengthen us in this time of loss and will ensure that Joseph's spirit continues to live on in our hearts.

A Graveside Service for Joe will take place on August 1st, 2023 at 11:00 AM in the Choteau Cemetery under the direction of Frontier Funeral Home. Condolences to the Family may be shared at www.frontierfuneralhome.com.
