Jerod Hensley

Jerod Matthew Hensley, a beloved son, brother, and friend, peacefully passed away in Great Falls, MT on June 20, 2024, at the age of 43. A graveside service will take place on July 17, 2024, at 11:00 am, in the Augusta Cemetery under the direction of Frontier Funeral Home. A reception will follow at the Stage Stop Inn in Choteau.

Born on December 10, 1980, to Jerry and Michelle Hensley, Matt touched the lives of many with his kind spirit and passion for life. Growing up in the picturesque town of Choteau, Jerod later ventured to Bozeman, where he graduated from Montana State University and then spent a year studying law in Toledo, Ohio. Matt's academic pursuits highlighted his dedication and intellect. Matt worked industriously at the Stage Stop Inn as the Night Auditor.

Matt had a deep love for video games and an enthusiasm for tabletop games. A true sports enthusiast, he found joy in following the Packers, White Sox, and Kings, displaying his loyalty to his favorite teams.

Preceding Matt in death is his brother, Josh Hensley.

Matt is survived by his parents, Jerry, and Michelle, brother, Chad Hensley, and grandmother, Nola Mosher.

His spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew him, and his legacy will continue to inspire. Jerod Mathew Hensley will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Rest in peace, your light will forever shine bright in the memories of those who loved you.
