Jeanette Margaret Dwyer Hursh went to be with The Lord on March 7, 2014. She was born July 19, 1924 in Amesbury, MA to Catherine and John Dwyer. She married Robert Hursh on December 23, 1947. During their life together, they lived in Key West, FL, Amesbury, MA, Anaconda, Bozeman and Terry, MT, Sheridan, WY, Salinas and Hayfork, CA. Jeanette worked for the Salinas School District for 13 years as a Campus Supervisor. She enjoyed many crafts including ceramics, painting, quilting and sewing. She was an avid reader and loved tormenting her grandchildren, to their great delight.
She was preceded in death by her son Pete, sister Katherine Temple and brothers John and Edward Dwyer.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Robert Hursh of Choteau, MT, her brother Daniel Dwyer of Longview, WA, her daughters Peni (Bill) Read of Belgrade, MT, Nina (Tom) Mortensen of Sparks, NV, daughter-in-law Sandi Hursh of Great Falls, MT and son Kevin (Kris) Hursh of Kalispell, MT. Nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Jeanette was a member of the Choteau Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Choteau Baptist Church, New Youth and Activity Center, P.O. Box 827, Choteau, MT 59422.
