Jack Bradford, age 94, passed away on Friday July 22, 2016 in Choteau, MT. He was born on May 20, 1922 in Fairfield, MT where he lived most of his life. He is survived by his wife, Millie, to whom he had been married for 69 years, children: Jeff Bradford (Angie) Durant, Florida, Anette Johnson (Mark) Portland, Oregon, Iris Bradford, Choteau, Montana and Reed Bradford (Gentre), Sugar Land, Texas. He had 14 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Jack farmed in Fairfield, mostly raising wheat and barley. He was also a beekeeper and took pride in producing the sweetest clover honey. His father, Granville Bradford, was one of the first farmers on the Fairfield bench and Jack carried on the family tradition of farming. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and his faith as well as his family were his highest priority. He was a kind and gentle man with a great sense of humor and a quick wit. He was loved and respected by many and will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be held Thursday July 28 at 11am at the LDS Church at 295 7th Street South, Fairfield, MT 59436. A viewing will be at 10am at the same location. Interment will be at Sunset Hills Cemetery in Fairfield MT.
