Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 8th at Sunset Hills Cemetery in Fairfield, MT for Gwendolyn Marcella Fassett, age 78, of Fairfield, MT who died Monday, December 3, 2012, at Benefis Healthcare in Great Falls from natural causes. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Gorder Jensen Funeral Home of Choteau, MT.
Gwen was born October 29, 1934 in Concord, Michigan, the daughter of Lawrence and Gatha (Curtis) Jardot.
She operated "The Store" in Fairfield, MT and enjoyed collecting antiques, fishing, hunting and playing cards and games. Our mom was amazing on so many levels. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Fairfield.
Gwen is survived by her beloved companion: Leo Mueller of Fairfield, MT; children: Sandy (LeRoy) Fadness of Boulder, MT, Cathey Bennett of Vermontville, MI, Camey Boster of Hastings, MI, Jody (Ken) Kyburz of Pleasant Grove, UT, Amy (Kevin) de La Bruere of Bettendorf, IA and Angie Swanson of Missoula, MT; 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant son: Chalmer Carter and a brother: Lavonne Jardot.
