Gail L. (Seidler) Morhardt, age 71 of Cut Bank, MT. passed away at her home in Choteau, MT. on Wednesday November 14. Funeral services will be held at Gorder-Jensen Funeral Home; 23 3rd St. NW in Choteau, Montana at 2:00 pm with burial to follow at Choteau Cemetery.
Gail was born on October 12, 1947 in Oak Creek, Co. She grew up on a farm east of Brady with parents Gerhardt and Adoline Seidler brother Robert and sister Elizabeth. Gail was active in Farmers Union, 4H and other community activities. She attended Great Falls High School where she was in Honor Choir, she graduated in 1965.
Gail married Larry D. Morhardt on August 22, 1965, they then moved to Cut Bank where Larry taught school and they started their family with three children, sons Terry, Brian, and daughter Tammy. Gail was a devoted mother, wife, grandmother and sister. Gail was notorious for her apple pies. She worked at First Interstate bank in Cut Bank, then worked for sixteen years at Northern Rockies Medical Center. She loved dancing, singing, reading, and camping with family in Two Medicine, Summit, and Lake Frances.
Gail is preceded in death by parents Gerhardt and Adoline Seidler. Surviving are her husband Larry D. Morhardt, sons Terry and Mindy Morhardt of Cut Bank, Brian and Mindi Morhardt of Cut Bank, daughter Tammy and Quay Torok of Cut Bank, brother Robert Seidler of Cut Bank, sister Elizabeth Merrylees of California. Three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
