Elizabeth (Bess) Ann Brutosky, 90, of Choteau, died of natural causes Wednesday, October 24th at Benefis Healthcare in Great Falls.
Bess was born June 5th, 1922 in Torbay, Newfoundland to Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Manning. She grew up with four sisters. She met her husband and moved to Montana where they were married on April 20th, 1947. They farmed southwest of Choteau for most of their life and raised two children.
Bess liked to talk. She visited with everyone and never seemed to have met a stranger.
Bess was a devoted Catholic. There will be a Rosary on Sunday, October 28th at 6:00pm at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Memorial mass will be held Monday, October 29th at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Choteau at 2:00pm with a reception immediately following in the church rectory. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Gorder Jensen Funeral Home of Choteau.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Andy Brutosky; her children Brian Brutosky (Rhea Brutosky) and Brenda Cunniff (Lloyd Cunniff); and her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren all of Choteau.
