Donald "Leroy" Wilson, 68, of Fairfield, MT died Sept. 16th at his home from complications of Alzheimer's. A Celebration of Life will be held at the family home, west of Fairfield, at 91 7th Lane SW; Fairfield, MT from 2:00PM to 4:00PM on Saturday, Sept. 20th. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Gorder Jensen Funeral Home in Choteau.
He was born Oct. 15, 1945 in Great Falls, MT to Pearl and Jere Wilson. He married Leanne Cote on April 26, 1969 in Great Falls. He worked as a welder for the Iron Works as well as a mechanic for Sun Rivers Electric. He moved to Fairfield from Ulm 1990.
Donald enjoyed his kids and family, his horses, his mountains. He also enjoyed spending time working on his hot-rod truck.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Leanne , a son, Zane Leroy Wilson, Ulm, MT; a daughter, Dawn Lynn (Corey)Hunter, Kingston, WA, grandchildren: Tanner and Jessica Tobel, Calen Hunter. Jenny, Cody and Abigail Wilson; special step granddaughter Lauren.
He was preceded in death by his father, mother and step father Blaine Threlkeld and a sister Judy Lynn Eagen.
