Dolores J. Lederer, of Choteau and formerly of Fairfield, died Thursday, April 12, 2012 at the Teton Medical Center Extended Care Unit in Choteau, MT from natural causes. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Gorder Jensen Funeral Home of Choteau. She was born on November 3, 1929 in Conrad, Mt, the daughter of Frank and Leona (Scharf) Philipps. She married Harry George Lederer Sr. on May 5, 1947 in Helena, MT. She was a homemaker.
Dolores enjoyed playing gambling machines, fishing, knitting, crocheting and gardening and had been a member of the Birthday Club on the Sunny Slope in her younger years.
She is survived by children: Diane Lorette of Selkirk, NY, Harry George Lederer Jr. of Columbia Falls, MT and Vickie (Mrs. Jeff) Converse of Fairfield, MT; sisters: Sara Tjaden of Crooked River Ranch, OR and Marilyn Biallas of Moses Lake, WA; brothers: Duane Philipps of Great Falls, Ben Philipps of Salem, OR and John Ader of Illinois; 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband on March 28, 2011 and a brother, Ted Ader.
