Delores Pool

Delores LaVone Styren Pool, 92, passed away peacefully of natural causes on November 18, 2024, in Conrad, Montana. She was born on July 3, 1932, in Brady, Montana, to Clarence and Bertha (Armstrong) Styren. Delores grew up on the Fairfield Bench, attending Golden Ridge School and then Fairfield High School.

A woman of many passions, Delores was an active member of the American Legion Women's Auxiliary, the Red Hatters Association, and the Great Falls Flower Growers Association. She found joy in fishing, camping, and playing cards with her family. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she was a devoted member of the Augusta Community Church.

Professionally, Delores dedicated over 20 years to Deaconess Hospital, working as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Monitor Technician. Her work was marked by compassion and a deep care for others. Over the years, she lived in several places including Goleta, California, Cross Roads, Mississippi, and Fairbanks, Alaska, before returning to Augusta, Montana, to be closer to her mother.

Delores was preceded in death by her husbands, Medric Morris, Robert (Bob) Morris, and Larry Pool; her parents, her brothers, Ernest (Betty), Eugene (Mary), and Lawrence (Betty); her sisters, Lois (Bob) Bernier and Irene (Reidar) Neckstad; brother, Herb (Denna) Styren; her brother-in-law, Jim Spinder; her sons, D'Wayne and Gary Morris; and her grandson Sammy Taylor.

She is survived by her sister Shirley Spinder, daughters Linda Seal and Ronda Miley, as well as her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many beloved nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Delores's life will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Augusta Community Church. The family welcomes condolences, which may be shared online at www.frontierfuneralhome.com.

Delores's life was one of love, family, and service, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
