Cleo Lensing 91 of choteau passed away on January 1 2016 at the Benefis Teton Medical center.
A memorial service wil be held Friday January 8th 2016 at 2:00 pm at Gorder Jensen Funeral home. A reception will immediately follow at skyline lodge social Hall.
Cleo Henry Lensing was born May 25, 1924 in McIntosh, South Dakota to Guido John and Wilhemina Marie (Schmidt) Lensing. On June 20, 1950 he married Jean Bruno in Helena, Montana. They made their family complete with sons John and Mark and daughter Carla.
Cleo worked as a carpenter, all across Montana, making friends wherever he was. He enjoyed sharing his craft with his family, building them many treasures over the years. Cleo was a jack-of-all-trades, he could fix anything. One of his greatest accomplishments was building specialty orthopedic items for his grandson. He so loved his grandchildren and cherished spending time with them, Cleo was a kid magnet.
One of Cleo's favorite times was riding motorcycles with his sons. He loved attending the Sturgis Rally, his last one was at 78 years old.
Cleo is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Jean; son, Mark (Judy) Lensing; Daughter, Carla (Vincent) Sullivan; daughter-in-law, Karen Lensing; Grandchildren, Cody and KC Lensing, Christina Nichter, Dustin Lensing, and Jason and Camron Sullivan; sister, Marie Hare; many loving great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, John Lensing; brothers, Leon, Pat, Virgil and Larry: and half-brother, Burt Artz.
