Chauna Cecile Lee (Freeburg)

Chauna Lee peacefully passed away in Great Falls on Thursday April 11, 2024. She passes away from natural causes.

She was born September 21, 1940, in Helena, MT to Francis W and Cecelia C Freeburg.

She worked at various jobs throughout her life including a Clerk with the Cascade County Motor Vehicle Department, the Cascade County Sheriff's Department, The USPS in Ulm, MT and CICOSTA Credit Union and finishing her work career at Montana Credit Union.

Chauna was living in Choteau at the time of her death having been a resident of Skyline Lodge. She enjoyed playing card games, listening to music and such with the fellow residents. We wish to express a great deal of gratitude and love to the staff and residents.

She is survived by her daughter Tammy (Chris) Hindoien, of Choteau, son Tom Edmonds (Brigit), of Great Falls, daughters Cathy Jenkins and Melanie Edmonds both of Great Falls along with 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She is proceeded in death by her mother and father as well as her younger brother James Freeburg.

She will be laid to rest at the Great Falls Mausoleum with her mother on April 26, 2024, at 2:00 pm. Funeral preparations and planning is being handled by Frontier Funeral Home in Choteau under the direction of Josh Belanger.

The family request donations to the Alzheimer's and Dementia Foundations in Chauna's name.
