Charlene L. Edwards, age 62, of Choteau, East Glacier Park and California, one of God's good, true and loving creatures, after her second long and valiant fight against cancer, went home to Paradise, January 24, 2013 at the Teton Medical Center Extended Care Unit in Choteau. At her request, there will be no services, and she asked to be cremated so she "can be with my boys" in this mortal world. Arrangements are under the direction of Gorder Jensen Funeral Home of Choteau.
Charlene is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Jon Cap Edwards of Choteau; her loving son, Samuel Cap and grandson Titus Cap of Washington state; her sister Mary Van Der Zee of Arizona; uncle, Titus Van Zanten and aunt Elaine Centeno of California, her "adopted" daughter, Teresa Brenner of California her "adopted" son Dr. James Lee of Hawaii, her favorite Choteau relatives, Carolyn Harsh and Ede Peterson and numerous other family and friends in all regions of the world where truth, compassion and loyalty are prized.
Our world is richer for Charlene's life, and poorer in her absence; we are solaced in our grief by the assurance that this day there is even greater joy in Heaven.
