Blanche Feeler Passed away 0n February 15, 2016 at the age of 96
Blanche was born in Fort Benton on Feb 13 1920 to Jake and Grace Warehime, early Montana Pioneers. She Attended grade school in a rural school in Cascade County , graduated from Belt Valley High School in 1938 and then Attended the Great Falls commercial College. She worked as an Accountant for Wolf-Langman livestock CO. Great Falls Nash and Idowell Creamery, before joining her husband Jack in forming Feeler's Feed & Buckskin Store in West Great Falls. They operated this store until 1971, when they sold and moved to Fairfield to retire, living the summer months in Fairfield and the winter in Apache Junction, Arizona.
Blanche and James C. "Jack" Feeler were married on January 14th 1939 and enjoyed 53 happy years together before he passed away in 1992.
Blanche was a 50 year member of Eastern Star, serving her chapter in Fairfield as Worthy Matron Twice and was Worthy Grand Chapter of Montana in 1973. Her interest in young people prompted her to serve on the Rainbow Board for Girls and she was honored to receive the Grand Cross of Colors.
Blanche was a member of John Calvin Presbyterian Church in Apache Junction for over 20 years, serving on the Session and on various committees. Sha was Chairman of the Fellowship committee for many years. She was president of the Presbyterian Women and was awarded the Honorary Life Membership Certificate for her work in the Church and the Women's organization. She is a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Great Falls, Montana. And a member of the United Methodist Church of Choteau
Survivors are one step son Ralph Feeler of Sun River, Montana. And several step grandchildren and great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jack, step son John and 7 brothers and 3 sisters. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Gorder Jensen Funeral Home Choteau, Montana. She will be buried beside her husband in Highland Cemetery at a private family service.
