Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 20, 2013 at the Choteau United Methodist Church for Alma Irene Camden, age 93, long-time Choteau resident who died Monday, April 15, 2013 at Benefis Healthcare in Great Falls, MT from natural causes. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Friday, April 19, 2013 at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Choteau Cemetery under the direction of Gorder Jensen Funeral Home.
Alma was born April 3, 1920 in Bunker, MO the daughter of Elmer and Betsy (Medley) Camden. She was employed at the Choteau Bakery for 23 years and the Choteau Senior Center for 10 years. Alma was a member of the Choteau United Methodist Church and the Choteau Senior Citizens Center.
She enjoyed gardening, sitting on her porch, knick-knacks; flowers, listening to records, word search puzzles and listening to piano music.
She is survived by a son: John (Saundra) Camden of Great Falls, MT; a half-brother: Bill (Judy) Broere of Dillon, MT; grandchildren: Monique Camden of Dallas, TX, Danielle (Marek) Dinges of Missoula, MT; Shawntel (Cory) Jackson of Helena, MT; Jason Nettleton of Laurel, MT; Stephanie (Caleb) Hill of Boise, ID; Neal Meier of Boulder, MT; and Kristi (Howard) Reed of East Helena, MT; great grandchildren: Braden Sims of Dallas, TX and Rylee Dinges of Missoula, MT; nieces and nephews: Lori and Bill Cote of Polson, MT; Kelly Jo and Wade Toren of Kalispell, MT; Ross and Kathy Broere of Cut Bank, MT; Clint and Shanda Broere of Lima, MT; and special friends: Bill and Betty Hill of Choteau, MT and many other nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Alma was preceded in death by her parents, brother: Earl Camden; and sisters: Esther Collins and Rose Truchot.
Memorials are suggested to the Choteau Lions Swimming Pool or the Choteau Senior Citizens Center.
